The Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History features exhibits offering a glimpse into the life of a Civil War soldier, a recreation of a late 1800s locomotive factory, and a reproduction of the Great Locomotive Chase. The museum is located just east of Main Street. Special exhibits include works by acclaimed photographers and collections of Civil War artifacts.
